"Spaghetti" and Meatballs 🍝

🍝My 3-year-old daughter requested meatballs so that's what's for dinner! 😊 ⁣⠀
 
*This is a meal you will want to make sure you planned out ahead of time so you don't go over your daily carbs. ⁣⠀
 

"Spaghetti" and Meatballs 🍝


 
Ingredients:⁣⠀
 
2.5 to 3 pounds ground beef⁣⠀
 
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese⁣⠀
 
3 tbsp ground flax meal⁣⠀
 
2 eggs⁣⠀
 
1/2 onion, roughly chopped⁣⠀
 
4 garlic cloves⁣⠀
 
1 tbsp Worchestshire sauce⁣⠀
 
1 tsp salt ⁣⠀
 
1/4 tsp pepper⁣⠀
 
oil or coconut oil for browning meatballs⁣⠀
 
16-20 oz. of your favorite tomato sauce. ⁣⠀
 
**(Be sure to check carb counts, I used Prego No Sugar Added Traditional Italian Sauce, 7 net carbs per 1/2 cup)⁣⠀

Instructions:⁣⠀
 
1. Place all of the ingredients EXCEPT the ground meat in a blender or food processor and blend until it resembles a puree, about 30 seconds.⁣⠀

2. Place meat in a mixing bowl and pour blended mixture over it.⁣⠀
 
⁣⠀
 
3. Using your hands' mix together until well blended.⁣⠀
 
⁣⠀
 
4. Form mixture into meat balls and set aside. ⁣⠀
 
⁣⠀
 
5. In a large pot heat a few tablespoons of oil and brown meatballs in small batches. They are delicate so make sure to leave room for turning.⁣⠀

6. Add all meatballs back to the pot, pour sauce over and simmer for 8-10 minutes. ENJOY!😋⁣⠀
